Build the campaign once. The page runs the sale.
A countdown usually counts to one date. Divi Countdown Extended runs a campaign: its schedule, its stages and what each stage says, on cached pages too.
One campaign. Two modules.
Stages that change on time
Works on cached pages
Five schedule types
No reload when a stage changes
How a campaign runs
Create the campaign, place the modules, and the browser switches stage on time.
Step 01
1. Create the campaign
Choose the schedule (fixed dates, repeating, evergreen, count up or WooCommerce sale) and add stages, each with its own headline, coupon, button and colors.
- Five schedule types
- As many stages as you need
- A timeline that shows the stages to scale
Step 02
2. Place the modules
Put a Promo Bar in the header and a Countdown Timer on the landing page, and choose the campaign in each.
- Header, footer or anywhere in the page
- Or one site-wide bar with no module at all
- Pick the campaign from a list
Step 03
3. The browser keeps time
The page carries the schedule, so the visitor's browser switches stage at the right moment without a reload.
- No reload at a stage change
- The page cache is cleared at each stage boundary
- Hide, message, stay at zero or redirect at the end
Stages that change without a page reload
Traditional countdowns only know one date. Divi Countdown Extended lets you construct an entire campaign progression with automatic stage shifts.
From early bird to last call
Each stage has its own headline, subheading, badge, coupon, button label and colors.
- Early bird: 40% off with its own coupon
- Main sale: 25% off
- Final hours: a new headline and color
- After the sale: the campaign's After words, a message, or a redirect
Five schedule types for real sales
Different marketing campaigns need different timing logic. Choose the exact schedule basis that suits your business model.
Schedule type 01
1. Fixed dates
One start and end, in the campaign's own city timezone, so a daylight saving change cannot move it.
- IANA Olson timezones prevent daylight-saving bugs
- Count down to a deadline or count up from launch
- Supports multi-stage timeline milestones
Schedule type 02
2. Evergreen
Each visitor's start is kept in their own browser, never on the server.
- Saved in browser localStorage, no cookies
- Persists accurately across reloads and tabs
- Configurable reset after X days or lock expired
Schedule type 03
3. Repeating
Daily, weekly, every other week, monthly, first or last weekday of the month, yearly, or a custom rule.
- Repeat daily, weekly, or monthly schedules
- Eliminates weekly date updating chores
- Identical stage urgency rules on every recurrence
Schedule type 04
4. Count up
Shows time since the campaign went live.
Schedule type 05
5. WooCommerce sale
Reads the sale dates from the product. Optional low-stock line.
- Swaps timers when shopper selects sizes
- Displays low inventory warning (Only 7 left)
- Works inside Theme Builder product templates
Two modules, two jobs
Instead of forcing one clunky module to do everything, Divi Countdown Extended provides two focused, purpose-built tools.
MODULE 01
DE Countdown Timer
The precision in-page countdown module designed for landing page heroes, checkout pages, and product grids.
Ends October 1, 2027 at 2:02 pm (UTC).
- Four label styles
- Six separators
- Screen-reader summary of the end date
- Four end-of-time actions
MODULE 02
DE Promo Bar
The Promo Bar module, placed page by page, that combines badge, headline, countdown, coupon code, and action button in one bar.
- Four layouts
- Moves Divi's fixed header down
- Stays in view while scrolling
- Remembers when a visitor closed it
- Parts per screen size
